Dust Mite Allergies

Dust Mite Allergies – and what Meditrend and founder, Richard Savage, has known all along!

Dust mites are exceptionally, small critters that are related to the spider family. They live on bedding, mattresses, upholstered furniture, stuffed animals, carpets and curtains and feed on dead skin cells. Dust mites can survive in any climate and even the cleanest of houses aren’t immune to their presence.

According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) about 20 million people suffer from dust mite allergies. And it gets worse, long-term exposure to dust mites can lead to asthma and severe sinus infections.

Fortunately, it's not a losing battle for those with dust mite allergies.

A new research study from Merck & Co. has found that an immunotherapy drug can relieve the symptoms of dust mite allergies by 49%.
